For most of those in the education system, it’s time to return to the daily dredges of learning. And it’s time to say farewell to the heat of summer and into the cooler period of falling leaves. Autumn (or Fall for those Americans amongst us) has come upon us with less and less time before the merriment at the end of the year.
Of note, our featured image this issue is from an artist called Tony Skeor, who does fantastic art you should totally check out! And this issue’s anime was a suggestion by a member of Cynosure, so thank you for that!

The free version gives you infinite diary entries, includes stats and a calendar, and you get to customise moods and activities. Paid clears ads, and expands the number of moods/activities available, so the free version is not that limiting!

A sandbox exploration game set on an alien world which has you work alone (or with friends) to explore your harsh environment, unearth rare discoveries, and unlock the mysteries of the universe, building custom bases and vehicles along the way. A fun romp in a unique twist in the genre with a Minecraft-esque feel without the blocky nature that permeates the space. Check it out!
Anime: Rising of the Shield Hero
There is a reason why this anime has become one of the most popular titles on Crunchyroll, the anime streaming site I use, and why the anime itself has both its second and third seasons confirmed in production. It follows Naofumi who, summoned to an alternative world as one of four cardinal heroes, finds himself hated by those he is supposed to protect. The anime follows him finding purpose in the world and clearing his name. Now one of my all time favourites.
Show: Dark Crystal - Age of Resistance
A prequel to the 1982 film of similar name by Jim Henson and Frank Oz comes this Netflix exclusive. A show about a battle between good and evil on another world, it is unique in its use of puppetry as the medium of acting. Beautiful and dramatic, this show does a fantastic job of pulling you in and both the world and puppets come alive on the screen in front of you. Trailer below!

A thought provoking philisophical discussion on the meaning of life, the connection of all things, and the future after death. Deep yet wonderfully animated, this is a unique answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything. Alternatively, we could just be a giant computer designed by another computer to come up with the number 42! Which one do you think is more likely?
